Alexandra Shipp
Alexandra Shipp's role in Twentieth Century Fox's X-Men, directed by Bryan Singer, is that of the mohawked superheroine 'Storm.' Shipp portrays a young model of Storm (originally played by Halle Berry). In a bid to make the character a hero, she delivers a new take on 'Storm' which many media outlets boasted them as being the "breakout" actor of the film. Shipp reprised her role of 'Storm,' in the film's sequel, X-Men Dark Phoenix. Shipp along with Nick Robinson co-starred in Fox 2000's Coming-of-Age story Love, Simon., it was based off "Simon Vs the Homo Sapien Agenda", the most popular Young Adult novel. Spinning Man, a psychological thriller that was based on George Harrar's novel, also featured Shipp. Later in the year, she played major roles in dramas A Dog's Way home, Shaft and Jexi.
